Since President Obama took office, he has faced one issue after another. Some public figures have come right out and said; race is an issue for many people in congress. Let’s think and discuss some of the latest issues in the media that has recently surfaced. Is racism the reason for President Barack Obama’s' problems?

Hmmm...I am a diehard conservative so I don't think I belong here. Nevertheless, no I don't believe race has anything to do with the "lack of respect" President Obama receives in Washington. The "public figures" that are pulling the race card are no doubt liberals and will use any excuse to explain President Obama's inability to address and fix the issues. If there is any unhappiness with the President I believe it has largely to do with his inability to lead. He hasn't shown the leadership nor the unity that he so often speaks of and I believe there lies the unhappiness of not only the Congress, but a lot of the people - many whom voted for him in 08 might I add. Don't get me wrong, from what I know of him as a father and husband, I love the man. However, I do not agree with his outlook of the world and I sincerely believe that he was not ready to lead the country. If anything, I believe that race propelled him to the Presidency and unfortunately it will more than likely keep him there for four more years. Especially since the other side is such a shit show.
ReplyDeleteRuby: Double standard... poor peole are not the only ones eating junk food. Note to self :People on FS have the right to choice just like everyone else.
ReplyDeleteRuby Marentes Maybe the choices should be healthy and accessible to all
ReplyDeleteChristy Torres Not necessarily. Due to junk food is cheap and they can but it anywhere. What I don't like is when they are buying things they shouldn't be buying or selling them for stuff they shouldn't be buying.
ReplyDeleteTerry Termine Not everyone on food stamps are necessarily the stereotypical lazy crackheads. I know a few people on them and some are working full time but can't make ends meet, while others are trying to do the right thing but can't find a job that will support their family. I don't think it's my right to tell them they should be denied Doritos when it's probably the only luxury they can afford. Believe me, I Understand some people play the system but most good people wouldn't chose to raise their kids in the projects and live next door to drug dealers. Only God has the right to judge us.
ReplyDeleteOrenthia Channer yes it should in reality only be used to help them sustain not satisfy their hears desire n should be put on time constraints if able bodied
ReplyDeleteRuby Marentes I wonder what would happen if people who are not on Food Stamps were told what to buy. Instead why don't we change our culture to promote healthier eating as a nation...not only poor people are suffering from obesity or poor diets
